Once my twin sons were of age and moved out on their own, I decided to leave the USA and move to Asia. It was the best decision I have made in a long time! I began my journey in Vietnam in 2022, earning my teaching certificate and starting a new career. In the USA, I worked as a restaurant and bar manager, constantly stressed out by the daily American grind. Teaching was a wonderful change for my well-being and overall mental health. The children are such a joy, and I feel fulfilled in that I am helping a child learn a skill that will increase their opportunities in life. I have taught in both Vietnam and Taiwan, and am now taking some time off and enjoying everything that this incredible city and country offer.
